Monitoring - Satellite technicians have implemented a work-around that has restored service to VAST Ch 629 (BBC World Service). We will continue to monitor this fix over the next few days to ensure the service remains operational.

Update - CRN has placed an alternate feed of Australian music on VAST Channel 629 until satellite technicians arrive on-site for investigation and repair works this afternoon. We will continue to keep stations updated on the works as they progress.

Update - The disruption to regular programming on Vast Satellite Channel 629 (BBC) continues. CRN has continued to investigate the issue with help from BBC technicians overnight. We have also engaged with our satellite technicians based here in Sydney.

We will continue to update stations about this issue.

Investigating - CRN have detected an interruption to regular programming on Vast Satellite Channel 629 (BBC). We have alerted the BBC to this issue and their technicians are currently investigating the issue.

CRN wishes to advise that this interruption is unrelated to the previous incident that affected the audio quality of the feed on Channel 629 (BBC), that incident has been resolved.

We apologise for the inconvenience and will continue to provide updates as they arise.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.

Scheduled - We are undergoing replacement of the BBC Word Service Satellite Receiver that was causing faults to the service last week.

This replacement work will mean that the World Service will be offline for the next few hours.

We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause - and will endeavour to complete this maintenance work as soon as we can.
